Sean will share stories of hope, lessons learned and best practices for addressing the problem of pornography in local churches.

Does God Endorse Violence and Genocide in the Old Testament?
Many people struggle with the violence of the Old Testament and particularly the apparent genocide in Canaan. We’ll take a closer look at these passages to confront some popular caricatures, revealing not only that these passages do not depict genocide, they are surprisingly a great source of hope.
Efficient and Effective Bible Study and Teaching Preparation: Logos Bible Software

Avoiding Colonialism: Serving, Giving, Sharing and Loving People in International Contexts
Ministry in an international context is a complex task. Often our Kingdom work takes place in countries where the long shadow of a colonial past shapes the current context. It is possible for ministry to become yet another form of unsustainable colonialism when not carefully thought through. Explore best practices for 21st century Christian engagement around the world.
Discipline that Connects with Your Child’s Heart
What kids learn when they are disciplined will last a lifetime. But well-intentioned parents can miss their kids’ hearts during discipline. It happens all the time. Many of us fear hell as an “underground torture chamber” that makes God look like a cruel, vindictive tyrant. Confront the caricature to reveal the beauty and power of God’s story, with a healthier Biblical understanding arising from the goodness of God. Walk away with practical ways to help those who wrestle with this difficult topic.
Every couple has sex, but very few have passionate sex. This seminar boldly but respectfully addresses the spiritual nature of sexuality and how couples can strengthen their sexual relationship.
