Pre-Conference Workshop

1009. Becoming a Missional Church
Friday || 9:30AM - 3:45PM

“If your church disappeared overnight would anyoneother than the membersnotice?” That’s the question Jeff Lockyer forced himself to answer several years ago and it dramatically changed the trajectory of his small Ontario country church. It now serves the homeless, kids at risk and migrant workers at several urban sites and has created multiple new ‘front doors’ for evangelism. Discover what it would look like—theologically, strategically and practically—to orient your church towards compassion and justice to make a greater difference in your surrounding community.

Main Conference Classes

46. Why Culture Matters Most
Block D || Sunday || 8:30AM

Culture has been made out to be the enemy of the church but, in fact, ‘culture’ is people—the same people we are trying to invite into the Kingdom of God. Understanding, embracing and focusing on culture—more than focusing on theology, strategy or models of ministry—can catalyze your church's experience of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven. In this class learn six actionable takeaways for every leader.
