Dr. Joel Thiessen is professor of sociology and director of the Flourishing Congregations Institute at Ambrose University in Calgary, AB. His latest book is The Meaning of Sunday: The Practice of Belief in a Secular Age. He is currently working on three collaborative projects focused on religious nones in North America, millennials in Canada and flourishing congregations in Canada.
