Main Conference Classes

7. Does God Bless Same-Sex Marriages in The Church?
Block A || Saturday || 11:30AM

What does the Bible say about marriage and same-sex relationships? Dr. Sprinkle wrestles with the theological arguments from both sides of the debate with thoughtfulness, honesty and grace and never loses sight of one crucial point: we’re talking about people, not just issues.

17. Loving LGBTQ+ People in The Church With Truth and Grace
Block B || Saturday || 2:00PM

Is it possible for those who hold to a traditional theology of marriage to truly love and honour LGBTQ+ people without changing their theology? If so, what does this look like in the life of the church? In this class Dr. Sprinkle focuses on relationships and answers your practical ministry-related questions.

35. The Must-Have LGBTQ+ Conversation (Human Sexuality Panel)
Block C || Saturday || 3:30PM
How does the church respond to one of the most defining issues of our time? Navigating the complexities of truth and love alongside people within the LGBTQ+ community is a significant challenge facing denominations, institutions and local churches across Canada. This panel of pastors, educators and Christians with same sex attraction launch the conversation by sharing the challenges, failures and joy of loving as Jesus does.
